La Buca di Montauto

The agriturismo is settled in a wonderful hilly position 1 kilometre far from the famous town of San Gimignano, it is full immersed in the charming countryside and enjoys a striking view. The tourist structure is completely restructured but it also preserves the typical Tuscan furnishing style. The farm spreads for about 12 hectares in the green of the hills of Siena. In the wonderful frame of the farm you will also observe, besides the grape and olive harvests, an unrepeatable sight: our wild boars (in a semi wild state) that run about in wide open spaces. Do not forget the visit to the wine cellar and the walk in the middle of the vineyards and olive groves where you can catch and take in your memory the music, the scents and the colours of this charming landscape.

Outside the Agriturismo, which is settled in a perfect position to have a charming view of the town, there is the swimming pool (14 x 7 metres) with a funny slide. At disposal of the guests: mini amusement park for children, table tennis, bagatelle table and a big space to relax. Do not forget the solarium space with deckchairs and sunshade parasols. Other services: covered car park, barbecue, indoor and outdoor furnishings for lunch and dinner. To be remembered is the possibility of visiting the wine cellar of our farm and the workshop where we work and sell the sausages, which are rigorously obtained with the meat of our wild boar breeding.

Our tourist structure has at its disposal two apartments of about 55 square metres and two rooms: everything has a proper independent entrance and is harmoniously furnished in typical Tuscan style. The apartments consist of: living room with kitchenette, double room, double sofa bed with orthopaedic bed base. They are spacious and comfortable and they have a wonderful view of the “town of the beautiful towers”. They are equipped with bathroom with shower, TV colour, fridge-bar and independent heating. The apartments and the rooms have an outdoor space equipped with garden furniture for a nice breakfast or lunch.
